I have never done this nor bought the stuff.I am going to start this weakend to remove the 318 and get ready for the 360.So just what do you call the stuff that is sprayed into the carb. The 318 will likly not be firered up for sometime.a few buddies swear by fogging.

Do not know exact name of fogging spray > but autozone or oriellys carries it .... BUT i have always used trans fluid ... while vehicle is idling >>> BE careful not to hyd lock engine .. dribble it in carb slowly until white smoke comes out of tail pipe for 1 minute ... then shut her down ...

I use fogging oil on everything from boat motors to lawnmowers, quads, and cars and I swear by it. I use the Canadian Tire stuff usually. I follow the directions and have never had a problem with hydraulic lock but if your worried you can always pull the plugs and turn it over a couple of times before use.

Ive used the Can tire stuff as well with no issues. I used tranny fluid as well, as said pour slowly in carb until you see white smoke then shut her down.

Marvel mystery oil works good too. Dump a little bit down each spark plug hole afterwards. Also plug the exhaust pipes to keep the critters out.
