Drache
1971 Dodge Dart Swinger
So who has been hunting this year?
Went to a location the locals call the "deer highway" due to the amount of tracks one sees out there. It's a long ways out in the middle of nowhere and found this built there. Really well built too! Took a bear using it
view off one of the random mountain tops we were on
My brother taking aim on a bear (had cubs so it go to live)
Me watching the bear disappear over the hills
My brother and my nephew
Twan Creek looking right
Twan Creek looking left
Rare white tail behind the ranch
One of the bears during skinning
One of the bears after skinning
One of the bears just after removing the innards
29 bags of bear sausages and 5 sausage rings
Sausage rings being smoked! Damn these were VERY TASTY!
Too early for this little guy! Our current season is 4 points or better until October
Turned a corner and spotted two of these bad boys facing off. One took off, the other decided to stick around for awhile. No open season on Moose in my area anymore sadly.
This guy was taking an interest in what I was doing on his mountain
Got my second bear. This was a big bruin. Measured 6'2 from tip of the tail to the tip of his nose! Weighed just over 400lbs. His head was 11 inches across.
Shot the bear at 175 yards with my K98 "Sniper Rifle"
