-
Each year had one bar for all engines.
2462838 - 67
2535533 - 68
2535534 - 69-72

The numbers on the bottom of the broadcast sheet are the last digits of the part but not always the part number in the parts catalog but sometimes they are.

From my 68 GTS, rear springs. Part number on the spring leaf is 2835064 and the broadcast sheet calls out 064 but the part book says 3004584

Yes I believe if you ordered from the factory a/c the vehicle would come with the 340 torsion bars and even the 5.5" wide steel wheels, even if only a /6 engine.
Bennoel 10, you are incorrect. I had a 69 Dart Custom with AC. Wheels were 4.5, I believe, and the Torsion were also lighter. The wheels I pitched years ago, but kept the bars in case I were to put together a SB drag car.

Post # 17 if you read it ,I corrected that statement. But your right it's not A/C that got the upgrades, it was a trailer towing option.

1967 Formula S, 4 speed = 2835024 both sides

My 67 Dart (my dad ordered it) with the Rallye suspension package has 6 full leaf rear springs. the car is a 2-67 build. 273 2bbl GT Convertible

The build sheet shows 024 under rear springs

The parts book we all reference is from January of 68 and supersedes the march of 67 book

The reference under "HD springs" 17-11-3 says ALL A bodies with HD springs used the same HD spring regardless of engine. So you could get a /6 to a 383 with the HD springs

The * before the part number indicates a change or addition, so it is likely that the replacement part from Jan 68 on was the 607 BUT the original part number was the 024. If anyone has a march of 67 parts book this could be confirmed

Another interesting thing is... there was a "Standard" spring for the 383 A bodies

1968 Formula S, Automatic = 2835056 both sides
I too have 2 leaf packs from a 68 Formula S that has the 2835 056 part number stamped on them.

and yet another odd thing...

1968 HD Dart and Barracuda 383 rear spring is the same part number as the Standard 67 Dart and Barracuda 383 rear spring
