Got the left qtr. finished up today,i had some very helpful welding tips from a new board member by the name toplscuda.

Also finished up the taillight.

So tell me..... did you get sweaty palms cutting open your car like an accident victim? I see pictures like that and the hair stands on the back of my neck. I have quarters to hang too.... I hope mine goes as well as your going. It looks good! :thumleft:

Hey.... if I can grab my buddys trailer and his wagon I can have my shitbox in your yard in about 4 hours! The motors already out.... Whadda ya say Kev? :tongue:

I figure about another year to finish the Duster and then the Scamp is next so i can get to yours in 2 to 3 years! :tongue:

Actually John it's not as hard as everyone makes it out to be,just make sure the car is setting level figure out exactly where you want to cut and tear in to it!
The worst part (at least in my opinion) is getting the trunk floor extension out,it has one hell of alot of spot-welds! :x

Wow..... Thats one job I'm dreading doing. Since I've never done anything like that before it seems like the impossible. Seeing work like that being done on cars that are now absolutely beautiful encourages me 8)

lol... it really isn't all that hard... the secret is to take your time. only cut what you have to. measure 10 times if you have to... the welding isn't that bad either.. all you are really doing is a ton of spot welds.
