Found some new power.

Benn playing with the car the last 2 days and it seems everything I do to it unleashes alittle more power. Yesterday while cleaning 2 weeks of body shop dust I found the number 5 and 7 plug wires were just sitting on top of the plugs. They must have been sparking becuase the car didnt run bad but plugging them in made a differance. Today I swapped in a smaller set of metering rods to try and get rid of a surge at cruise. I richend bolth the cruise curcuit and power mode. Again it made a nice gain. Maybe next I'll throw a timing light on it

I almost ran it on a chassis Dyno last night. $100 for 3 pulls. The wife gave me the OK but I decided I had better things to do with the money right now. :wink:

I know how that works Adam.

I'm still playing. My MSD distributor should be here pretty quick (everything else is MSD) so that will help. I've not even fooled with timing it. It's close enough for now.
New plugs, even GAPPED will make a difference too I'd wager. <G>
