Here are a few fotos of the 273 (.060 over) with stock cylinder heads that ran a best of 12.72 ET @ 108 mph back in the mid 1970's.

That's a TM5 Edelbrock Tarantula that was used with the stock small intake bolts (and larger washers) after having opened up the cylinder head intake ports to match the intake gaskets. Trap speeds were 6400 RPM and still pulling strong (1970 Challenger 8 3/4 sure-grip 4.56 behind a close ratio A-833).
 
Thats good to hear. Thats the intake I just threw on my 273. That was a good running combo. I think I will be happy for now if mine gets in the 15's..
 
One of life's regrets is not having photos of all my cars. Thats cool to see one of your old one's.
