Jake lost his GameBoy when he was in the 3rd grade. We really thought a friend of his took it home and never gave it back. Thankfully we never confronted the friend's parents. Cut the couch open and it fell out. Jake is now 22. The dang thing turned on with enough battery charge remaining to play a couple of rounds.

Man, I haven't seen one of those in years!!! My son, now 30, used to love his.

That's funny right there!! Good thing you didn't lose a friend over it.
 
Thats awesome! I had a levels meter that I had not used for 4 years, it powered up on its rechargeable battery and showed 25% juice. so yours was idle for 15 years? Crazy your batteries didnt leak. AAAs?

Just remembered that our friends cat lives in his sofa....spring suspension and a void like an old car bench seat

I went skiing with her sister , the one that was always on the news about 1992, 2 yrs before the murder.....friends uncle was dating her. Me and her actually hit it off pretty good on a few long ski lifts.

If the kid was three when he lost the toy and is now 22 how does that make the couch 16 years old? My math is getting a little weak these days...
