Im putting a four speed in my 64 valiant. I have the four speed hump so i was able to trace the out line of that onto the floor. My question is how much floor do i leave on the inside of the trace line to weld to? Thanks for the help

Here is my floor hump. Why doesnt mine have that bracket on it?This 4 speed tunnel was cut out of an Early A body and recently sold, see thread with pictures below.
No measurements, but maybe you can get an idea from the pics, or contact the buyer, Moparlvr166, maybe he can tell you if he had to trim this or not.

I was talking about the plate with the shift pattern on it. Sorry. I’m new to four speedsI imagine it would have the plate either way to hold the boot down. It'll have a boot regardless of console to seal the hole. Now, whether the boot is the same, I don't know. I would think "probably not". But it might be.
