Going to be selling a fresh 340. Assembly is factory forged crank, factory 340 rods , hand picked, checked, re-sized, lightened w ARP bolts, TRW 2316 forged pistons w total seal rings and clevitte bearings. Assembly was machined, and balanced at a local machine shop (High Torque, by Bob Bailey) Before assembling I have a late 69 (70) and a late 70 (71) blocks .030 over and ready to go. Checked, machined, and prepped by the same machine shop. Your choice of cam. Double rooler chain. Stamped or 273 rockers. Will be topped with fresh 67cc 2.02 J heads netting about 10.2:1 comp. Intake of your choice. V/Cs of choice. This engine will have oiling mods. Looking to get $2600. Advertised locally as well, 1st come 1st serve. Only selling 1.

Supposed to be sold. I dont count on anything till $ is in my hand. I do have an engine run stand, so cam will be broke in and timing set, someone can physicly hear and see it has good oil pressure, dont vibrate, smoke, or overheat. Not dynoed but should be rite around 325-350 HP good street runner

360s are everywhere. 340s are not, its more of vintage thing. A 360 will go very well for cheaper IMO

Exactly why I want the 340 ... LOL! I'll definitely keep track of you on FABO as I could possibly get a big bonus at the end of the year and I know EXACTLY what I'll splurge on!!:burnout:

I would have a 340 hands down. A 360 isn't bad but I would still have a 340. That is a great price if I needed another engine I would consider it. You can't build a decent engine for that.
