Frikin Indians

Let me start by saying that I am part Cherokee Indian :D

Which part?

Seriously, aren't we all. In this neck of the woods, at least.

P.s. Rani, how can Karma be true? I've got it too good.

When you really, really think about it, there are 3 main root causes to conflict.....Money, Religion, and Racism.......

I think you left out language, which is closely associated with culture.
Think about that one.
There have been comedy routines based on the premise that Hitler could not have been possible with the English language.

Local Indians here Pokagon band tribal cops are deputized by state police more jurisdiction than local police. part pisses me off are taxes open casino no taxes open gas station they are exempt, but use public roads wtf, purchased something like 15,000 aces no property taxes

I was afraid this was going to turn into a Native American bash fest.

For the record, I don't have any partial anything in me. I signed the check that allows the rest to claim whatever hyphen they feel the need for.

I'm 100% American.

I don't think anybody has bashed anything here. Only people expressing their discontent with double standards and special privileges that aren't available for everyone. One law for them, and another law for us, is never going to make people feel like it's a level playing field.

sorry, thought that's what I've said...

First I'll answer a couple of questions.

If you are on tribal land and you break a law and then run off the reservation, the res cops will call the city police and they will persue you from there.
BUT, if you are on City property and break a law and run onto the reservation and you are not Indian they will allow the city cops to come and get you under thier supervision.
If you are Indian that broke the law and run back to the reservation, the reservation police tell the city to back off and let them handle thier own.
See, different law for different races even in the same town or city.
I don't care personally, because I don't break the laws of either one but it does breed division and racism between the white eye and the native.

I am 25% Cherokee, but I don't claim it for political or percieved rights because of the fact that I do not beleive there should be different rules or rights because of race, color or history.
Being of Indian decent, I could move to Oklahoma where my family is originally from and claim free land as my right given by the US government.
I don't believe this is an equal opportunity for all Amercans, but only for segregated few that have different rights than the rest of the American citizens.

This is not about Native Americans, or any other group or nationality.
It is litterally about the double standards that are allowed by our own leaders.
The US government loves to divide people into opposing groups.

Why does there have to be left vs right, or democrat vs republican?
Why can't there just be a group that governs where some have different oppinons than others in the group?
Would it not work out the same as how decisions in policy are made, but without the division between the people?
A vote is a vote either for or against a policy, so why does everything have to be set up like a war between opposing sides?

Intentional division seems to be the goal, and it isn't an accident or a by product of differing oppinions.

Exactly, and intentionally designed that way like I said above.
So if it's intentional, and they can see what it causes among the people then why is it designed this way?

It isn't an accident.

This says it all !

It also applies to people moving from a big city to a small town that refuse to slow down and assimilate.

When this migration happens on a large scale it changes the area to one more like the area they escaped from.

Ask me how I know.

Saw this a lot in the late 80's around here. People moving out of the BIG cities, to get there kids out of the gang culture, their kids just brought the gang culture with them.

That's why you can elect whomever you see as the best to represent your country, as long as it's the bloated elephant or the stooped jackass. No other candidate has a chance in hell of being elected, especially under the electoral college system!
