OK I need to know whom makes the best front end rebuild kit and where do I get one for a 1973 Duster. I have play in the steering and its driving me nuts. Also do you think the steering box needs to be replaced also and if so where do I get one of those. I have all the websites but I want to go with what works and fits best. So I ask y'all. Oh and is there a problem clearing tti headers?

There`s several companies carrying front end rebuild kits. PST and Just Suspension are two as well as Mancini Racing. PST is probably the cheapest of the 3. If you think the play in your steering is from worn out tie rod ends ,idler arm, etc., then rebuild your front end first and see if that doesn`t take care of the play. If not I`d check out the steering coupler first and then the box next. The couplers are often worn out making a lot of play in the steering.

PSC (Performance Suspension Components) out of AZ.

I asked the same question and PSC was reccomended to me. I ordered a kit from them for my 73 front suspension, cost $386.00, worked out great for me.

did you change the sterring box too or is that a waste

Well I am in the process of changing mine from manual back to power. And I pulled the motor trans out to paint the engine bay. So it will be a while before it is back on the road.
