Front grill assembly 64 cuda

can anyone tell me what the material is on this a body cuda grill assembly ? It all takes a slight pull with a magnet. Are the left/right areas chrome or stainless? I thought stainless did not take a magnet. The center is painted black like the car ,pot metal ?

Left and right sides are chromed and yes the center is potmetal.
