Front runners

Who here runs tubes in their front runners. I have old school Center Lines that leak between the two halves. Tires are M/Ts 25x4.5.x15. Rims are 15x3.5 or 4.5. If so what tube do u use. I was told I cannot use tubes. Thanks. Kim

Can you seal the halves with silicone? I wonder why you shouldn't run tubes?

I’ve tried silicone. Still leaks some. I used to fill every week, now about every 2 weeks. Or maybe they don’t make tubes small enough with a bolt on stem. Kim

Kim, go to your local tire distributor & explain the problem. They may have a fix for you, I ran tubes with my Centerlines on the race car with no problems. After a while, I scrapped as much of the old silicone as possible out & resealed my wheels. No more tubes & no problems for the last two years.

Did the same thing / back in the day , on super tricks tho.
