If anyone has installed a front sway bar on their 1965 Dart, could you please post some pictures of the installation. The sway bar that was installed on my '65 Dart does not look like it was done correctly.
Having problems with replacing bushings and think it is the way previous owner installed the sway bar.

Have attached some pictures of how sway bar is mounted. The way mounting brackets are installed when bushing brackets are installed the bracket is twisted.

Pictures of original bushing brackets are attached. If you look closely, you can see how it is out of shape.

that's not factory.

looks like maybe an early addco bar or somebody thought to DIY it.

**correction: an early addco or sway-away bar that somebody didn't mount properly.

Went to Addco website and the sway bar they have for 1963-1966 Dart looks just like the one installed on my Dart. Sent then an email about it and waiting for a response.
Their mounting instructions show a lip on the K member where the "L" bracket is supposed to be attached, but my K member doesn't have that lip. Any ideas on how to mount bracket?

https://www.forabodiesonly.com/mopar/threads/1965-a-body-sway-bar.295373/ The original Mopar bushing bracket is very different than the cheap 2 bolt aftermarket bracket. It is far more robust. You may have to weld or bolt a mount bracket on the Dart to fit that thing. Look through this post...there is a pic of an additional mounting bracket that the 2 bolt one you have bolts to.
