FS is my 1999 Dodge 2500 SLT Quad Cab Short Bed 2wd pickup truck. It has the Cummins 24v turbo diesel that runs perfect. It has a BHAF (Big Honkin Air Filter). New Crank Position Sensor. New Starter. Oil has been Changed religiously. Trans Fluid and Filter changed. New Brakes 1 year ago all the way around. It has been my daily driver for the past six years. I purchased it to tow my 28ft enclosed trailer. The truck will tow anything. Gets 18-21 mpg a/c on . The truck has never been modded with any programmers or extra boxes. still has the factory exhaust and will make a ton more power if you want to go that route. Would make someone a great work truck or racecar hauler.

Thats a good lookin' Dodge. & a silver top ISB no doubt. Being its a 99, I have to ask. Is it a "52" block truck?

It's block casting number '53'. Ran from 98.5 to 2001. It is stamped on the block in a couple places. I believe on the passenger side and some where in the front but the one on the side is easy to see.

My buddy (with my help) got Cummin's to warranty the block he had and ANY internal parts that might have been needed plus they supplied all gaskets.

Cost him labor. He was at 100,000+ on miles not sure how much help you might receive but it would be worth a shot if it's a leakier. NOT ALL leaked or cracked. Blocks were from Mexico that were effected. Not looking to rain on your post ,sorry.

sorry for the delay, it is a 53 block. Engine has never given me any problems or show any signs of consumption. Was never beaten or over rev'd even towing the trailer for what its worth........

just being realistic. its a great truck. just have to many cars right now.

Damm that is a good deal.. AS you can tell from my signature I play some with my 99... Nothing wrong at all with it being a 53 block... Mine is and I put out a good bit more hp and tq with no issues..

I will tell a friend about this righ now.. Where are you located at?

Trucks (even diesels) are hard to sell right now. Hope it goes to a good home.

Being a 2wd compounds the problem.

This is exactly what I want! Unfortunately I am broke so that doesn't do you (or me) any good.

I own a 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT quad cab 5.9L fully loaded w/ tow package & a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 SLT quad cab 5.9L fully loaded w/tow package
