Last time I was cut off in the Duster -it happens way to often-

I was only under 1/4 throttle and when I hit the brakes hard the car will stall and only under these panic stops will it happen.

It's a 650 speed demon and the floats are set correctly as per FBO and my engine shop. 3/4 front and half rear.

Is this just a normal thing or is there soemthign that can be done?

he must get them from somewhere. check with barry grant i guess

You know I been running 650 and 750 speed demons for quite a few years, as I'm sure that many on this site have, and never had this problem. Is it possible that the problem is not the carb but the torque converter and maybe it's unlocking to slow so that under hard braking it's dragging down the engine. Try this, take her up to 50 KM/H, put the tranny in neutral and slam on the brakes.
