I'm working with my 66 Dart.
After looking at the gas tank position I've come to the conclusion that I'm going to have to go to a fuel cell in order for my electric fuel pump to be below the tank so fuel can flow to it.
I was wondering what others have done so you can still fill the cell from the original position outside the car. I plan on driving this car on the street on weekends and a few trips of 300+ miles so I dont want to be filling from inside the trunk. I'm hoping this is possible. I would also like to keep the spare tire well but it looks doubtful that I can make something work.
Are you running a cell with a foam liner? Or just the cell itself. What is the safety factor of using a cell?
Look forward to your suggestions.

When I had my sumped stock tank,I welded a piece of flat steel to the back of the car then bolted my fuel pump to it.I dropped it as low as I could,so it was almost even with the sump outlet. It worked for me.You can see it at the back right corner under bumper.
