need your help guys.... i have a fuel cell mounted in the trunk. what are you guys using for venting? i want something simply and clean looking. open to all suggestion guys. pictures would be great. i have seen aluminum fuel line looped and then go thru the floor. not sure i like that idea.

Whatever you do, put a small breather on the end to keep the critters out.

You need to get it up high to keep if from forming a siphon. If you come out fairly low, and then go down through the floor, even a "soft" launch or acceleration will cause the fuel to push up/ over the top and out the tube.

I haven't checked NHRA rules lately, but they probably have something to say, as well.

i was thinking about putting in a one way check valve right of the fitting in the cell then making some sort of tube that would come off of that and then exit the trunk

You don't want a check valve in your tank/ cell. It will build up pressure.

I ran mine from the cell up to the vent in the original gas fill tube.

What did you end up doing?

I installed a roll over check valve and looped it and then down thru trunk floor with a bulkhead fitting. I attached a little filter on the bottom side to keep the critters out.
