Fuel gauge?

My fuel gauge only works once in a while,[mostly not] any suggestions 1970 dodge dart.

well try some of the easy stuff first.the ground strap on the gas tank connection,good ground on the dash,voltage regulator that mounts to the circuit board.hope this helps some
