Is 3/8 big enough or should I go with 1/2 since I'm replacing it.
Approx 400 hp 360 Dart street car, won't be turning over 6000 rpm
thanks, also is alum line safe for road and street?

3/8 should work fine.

I use aluminum stuff all the time.

Steel line is tougher and more resistant to damage. If you plan to drive it a lot, I'd do a steel line.

3/8 is big enough. If you run the line close to where any rocks could hit it, cover it with a rubber hose. Just split the hose and it will fit right over it. Just watch it near the exhaust.

Thanks for the info I think I will go with alum and cover the exposed spots with rubber.
