Just wondered if anyone had any recommendations for my 318/390 stroker?
I have the Scat cast crank and i-beams with Icon forged pistons so I'll limit the nitrous to no more than a 125 shot.
I had been planning to go down the holley blue top route for 'motor only', but not sure on the nitrous side. I guess a separate fuel system is my best option?
Mechanical pumps are right out due to clearance issues.

Thanks

Jamie

I prefer to have a seperate pump and system for the NO2 if you've got electric. The smaller plates don't need a ton of pressure but they do need a little volume so I prefer not to risk robbing from the carb or risking leaning out.

Thanks, I figured that would be true even at this level. Better safe than shrapnel. Pump recommendations for reliable and reasonably quiet use?

what I used was
3/8 fuel pick up in oe tank
3/8 hard line
2 regualtor one set at 7 psi for carb and the other 5 psi for nitrous
blue holey fuel pump

now I have 1/2 mancini racing fuel pick up still using OE tank
5/8 braided hose
black holley fuel pump
and still using the same set up of regulator
monted to a 3/8 npt T fitting

I hade run that set up with out problem for the last 2 years

engine is 408 with 800 cfm carb and the nitrous is a nitrous work plate
set to 125 hp

Sounds like a nice set-up. I may go that route or run 2 independent systems as I have a fabricated tank with 2 -8AN pick-ups. Cheers.
