What would be better trying to find stainless steel line with all the bends like original or braided steel hose and straight shot to fuel pump

Resto the reason why is the rear has been mini tubed and springs had been moved in board so I don’t think a stock line would fit

Get a roll of hard line and make your own. Use NiCop or steel, stainless is difficult to work with and to get to seal when done.
Assuming a track car (mini tubs and spring relocation is hardly a resto), you need to pass tech and most sanctioned tracks will not let you run that much soft line anyways. Can't understand why people jump in to major chassis mods and then get scared off by a little work with a tubing bender...

I bought the car that way and during inspection of fuel lines they just spliced 2 pieces in and I don’t think it’s safe and it’s not a track car it’s a driver with wider tires in the back my drag racing days were over a long time ago

I'd still do hard line, as I dislike having any more soft line than necessary.
And a 2 piece line is just fine, as long as the splice is done correctly.

I don’t think it was done safely just thought it would be easier so I guess I’ll be doing hard line all the way

Is this safe

As crusty as some of that line looks, I'd be replacing it anyways.
Is it safe? Depends if the line ends were bubbled for hose retention, among other things. Functional? Yes, short term; but as I said, I'd be replacing the hardline long term.
Remember, you'll be having hose connections at your tank, pump, filter, and possibly carb, so I'd do anything you can do to minimize the rubber (and number of connections) you have in the system.
Also kind of depends on what your plans for a fuel system are- mechanical or electric pumps, regulators, carb/EFI, yadda yadda.

Just need to replace hard line everything else is in place
