Well it's time I bite the bullet and buy a new tank.Anyone have ideas who might have the best deal on one....

I purchased my tank from Tanks Inc. Mopar Fuel Tanks
They build a very good tank, exactly to OEM specs. Even had the turn-ups at two corners for exhaust system piping. I also used a Bill Hirsch tank sealer to protect the inside from corrosion. Very happy with my decision.

I always check rock auto and go from there. I also like the Spectra premium tanks. you might want to look at a tank strap and a new pick up. When I got my new pick up I went with 3/8.
If your OEM pickup is good don't change it, all aftermarket SENDERS are horribly inaccurate.
Or have it refurnished.
Tanks Inc for me as well. !0 years and still like new.
Mine is going on eight years and is still perfect too Mike. They do make a very good product in my opinion.

AMD had some tanks on clearance about 6 months ago you may want to check with them
If you want it now you may not have many choices. Last I checked tanks Inc. was on back order for a body tanks

I got an inexpensive one off Ebay and it's been excellent. The goats head thorns I got in my scalp laying in the dirt while installing it were a free bonus

I got a sender from the same place and it's perfectly good. Upgraded to 3/8 stainless.
The electrical post is a smidge bigger and I had to sand it to get the push-on connector to slide on

At least get a new pickup screen for on the end of the pickup tube.
