just a story of fun in new york weather, customer has a late 90's mustang cobra done nice... put a clutch in it today and by the time we were done theres like 1/2 of snow sleet on the roads.... this car has svo side skirts, side pipes, off road x pipe, motor work done etc etc.

he didn't want to drive it home so he threw me the keys and said lets have some fun, he said he had good insurance if something happen, plus he is more of a friend then customer.. never rode in any of my old cars with me so he didn't know how good i can actually drive.. we had such smiles on our faces.. on the slick roads felt like it had 800 hp, drift and donuts and spinning was so easy. wish could of got some video. He said i am wasting my time wrenching and should be driving. He said i have a lot of skill. Just to much fun... figured id share

When I was in my late teens ,early 20,s I couldn,t wait for it to snow.Always loved driving in the snow,drifting,donuts,fishtails...Was a great way to learn how to control a car and learn it,s limits. Now that I,m a little older,I like to keep it to a minimal though, but it sure did help my driving skills over the yrs.I,m having flashbacks now.LOL~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~:toothy10:

I used to go out to the shopping mall parking lot to just go nuts spinning the car around and around. burnouts on the snow packed ice. That was a long time ago. I am also showing my age here!!

well i can do it on dry black top with out no problems, burn outs side ways dounts etc.. come late oct all of my cars are put away so never see snow.. its rare for me to be in something rwd, stick shift and have power in the snow... i drive an escort and chevy truck for the winter.

Since I moved to phoenix from denver 8 years ago the only thing I miss about the snow is driving in it. Soooo much damn fun! My favorite car in the snow was my 93 eagle talon awd turbo. Car was modified quite a bit and made some good power, maybe 350 horse or so. The thing would just rip through the snow, it surprised a lot of guys with jeeps a pickups.

talons are no joke, i have a friend with one.. header bigger turbo boost controller etc.. there no slouch and can handle and put the power to the ground

Sideways up the street in the snow is fun. We used to drive out onto the lake and do doughnuts when I was growing up. Doughnuts and spins with a front wheel drive car is fun too. toolman

I love NY and I love the snow and love driving in the snow, left Vegas and drove my California born and raised 65 Barracuda to NY in February of 80 something and drove it as a daily driver up until the day I gave it to a friend in 96. It was always fun to drive in all weather.
