Funny assed infiniti TV commercial

-
I remember the Chevy and GMC tahoe hybrids. I thought that **** was funny, and a collosal waste of money. I think the hybrid system on those big bloated pieces of **** only amounted to an additional 2-3 MPG. Hardly worth the buy in price , batteries, and special expensive transmission.

A commercial only works is it gets people to actually buy something, not make fun of it or get your ad/product pulled.
If one googles: Advertising gone wrong.

I dont get excited about the latest shiny new trinkets. Expensive ****. And i do mean ****. I go salvage yard hopping enough to see this stuff in the scrap yard after 10-12 years. Even sooner if somebody center punches a phone pole with it. Seats in that thing might be dandy in an old hot rod though.

I have seen some nice seats in the most unlikely of cars in the scrap yards in dallas this week while here for training. Late model volkswagen passat, and audi sedan came to mind. Commercial for this new infiniti shows the buckets. They might be good for a project car. Rest of it to the dustbin of history when they are used up. If i cant find a decent set of 68-69 buckets to recover for my sons car, i may just buy a set of 05-09 mustang LX or GT buckets, and mount em to A body seat tracks. I can buy black leather replacement upholstery for em from the mustang sites. Pattern looks close to a 69 base model upholstery. Easy peasy.
