Hello all I need help with rewiring my 74 dart sport 6 cylinder. the picture below shows the fuse box that came with the car and I'm pretty sure its not the right one. the previous owner for some unknown reason re wired the car with wiring harnese's from a dodge truck. I searched all over but couldn't find a picture of the correct fuse box. Does anyone have a picture of their 74 dart sport fuse box? I think it should only have eight fuses. thank you in advance.

See the link to the wiring diagram. It shows the fuse block and where the wires should go.

Thanks Momoparman those are the diagrams I have been using so it confirms I have the wrong fuse box.

If you already have two 74 harnesses, why are you screwing around with a truck harness??
It came installed in the car with all the engine compartment wiring done . So I was. Trying to work with what I had and not have to redo the engine compartment wiring

"Do not make a screwdriver from wood, because you can whittle and have the wood on hand"
...I have under hood harnesses as well

Yes I'm a dumbass, I thought I would try to make it easier for myself. This is my first wiring job and boy have I learned a lot. But I am real good at body and paint so I'm gonna step back from the wiring and fix both quarters

Don't be afraid of the wire. Just start at one end with one color and work your way to the other end. Take your time and identify everything with tape.
With the diagram and some patience, I'm sure you'll figure it out.

Good luck.

These work great for marking wires.
