Gas Cap for a 64 Dart

I heard that the gas cap should be universal for Darts from 1963 - 1969 (maybe even 1970). Can anyone confirm this? THANKS!

nope-- from 1960-1966 would work & 1967 -??
Daimraider on this board makes custom caps for 60-66 a bodies----- Lawrence

Some of the '60-2 model caps are clocked different but they fit the filler neck. The '63-6 models interchange. The '67-early 70 caps have a larger diameter center.

How do you polish out the swirls etc.?

It takes a couple of minutes , but it is very easy . I can get them polished to a high shine for $20.00 .
