are you sure it is not water? condensation ???
 
a lot of times in the morning you will get condensation (water) coming out of the tail pipe...and mixed with soot from burn gas....
 
ok well i havent had it running right for about a month and just got everything back together so i was worried that i did something wrong....it was alot of fluid maybe about 2 oz before i shut it off
 
Water is a byproduct of combustion. It's perfectly normal.

Water is what rots out exhaust systems too. If you do a lot of short trips and never get the exhaust system good and hot, you will never burn off that water. Putting a weep hole in your muffler will extend its life.
 
Absolutely. I put duels on a 04 dodge pickum up and figured I'd save a few bucks and just put summit steel mufflers on it. Lasted a year. I only drive a mile and a half to work each way so they never warmed enough to get rid of the condensation. Put magnaflow stainless as well as stainless pipes and seven years later no problems. They will prob outlast the truck.
