I sanded mine down. Painted it silver with a clear coat , turned out nice.

sand with 180 or 220 grit all the yuk off of it, then follow up with 1200 wet for the scratches. comes out pretty nice

Steel wool and a coat of clear here. Came out like new!!!

Send a spare to Leanna and have it done up in Alien Silver or that Super Chrome. I think that would look killer.

I just wish they would work better. You 70's A body owners don't seem to have as many problems with splash back. LOL

I'm building a 62 Plymouth Valiant and fitted a tank from a VF Pacer, basicly a Dart in the US. It has a nice flat filler tube that fits in the floor. I used a 68/69 Barracuda recessed flip filler.

I coated 65BCODA's gas tank filler tube awhile back. The pictures are on my old computer (so they're gone forever) but maybe he has a few. It turned out all right -- it had a hole in the side that required metal filler.
