Now I know I could just go to summit etc but,Im hoping to find a gas tank in the wreckers that will fit and offer some modern safety features much like a fuel cell would have.At least I wouldnt be paying that deal killer shipping.
Plus I am curious after seeing someone choose and mount a subaru tank in thier rod (not a mopar) in a magazine Called Canadian hot rods. Granted the rod is a 1929 model A Ford,so the tank may have been chosen just for fitment.
Are there any modern car gas tanks that are constructed similar to a fuel cell?
Another advantage might be a plastic tank,that is light and wont rust ever.
