Looked back at the original post I did on car, and yes it's getting the glass front end and doors we bought from you (wannadrag), we have all the lexan windows done too. it was going to get a 502, but the deal on that went south with the previous owner keeping it.

Some progress and picked up a 440 for it this past weekend.

Nice, man that car is clean, and yes Keith is a very nice guy, didn't meet his dad, but met him at Mopars in the park this spring. I have a lead on a 67 fastback right now, for the wife.

wannadrag, was that truck at Jefferson a couple years back?
damn all these gasser pic's have me thinking of turning my 47 Plymouth coupe into a gasser again. I have a nice 493 from my dart and some a body fenderwells that might fit.

If you guys like gassers you have to check out the melt down drags in Byran Il on the 3rd weekend in July it is a great time. Been there the last 4 out of 5 events.

Cool pics. Love the '64 Polara 500, had one for years. Originally all black,
buckets, console, 383 4spd. Final incarnation- 440, tunnel ram, 727, Dana
W/4.56 gears. Is (or was) that bubble top Plymouth real? Crazy, daddio!

Bought some sb chevy fenderwells and a pair of BB mopar flanges, some cutting, welding and we have a pair of BB mopar fenderwells.

Thats cool, I luv these round 4 fendered cars of this era. thanks
I'll keep posting some as we go. I got the rear wheel wells cut out this weekend, and blocked the parts with 180. We got the frame stripped and ready to be blasted and powder coated, tore a early Olds rear end down, cleaned up, blasted and ready to be powder coated.

This is what got done today.

It is a lot of work, but I am having a blast and making good money to spend on my daughters college and my Mopars!!!

Some progress, engine and trans in and mounted, new floor structure is done as I dropped the cab and box 6" down over the frame.I also did get some 165/80/15s mounted and on up front. With the engine and trans in I have a idea of the ride height which is close.

This thread does look like fun!

Once I'm not buried up to my eyelids in the tin I'm messing with right now, I've had an idea for a gasser.

A friend of mine who worked for metro taxi decided to keep an '82 Checker.

They are the same body from 1958, kept in service production for fleet. This one still has the mechanical fare register on the dash and the service light. It is white with orange fenders.

I think orange headlights, a set halibrands and the solid front dip axle from a 32 plymouth I've got floating around, under a 392 would be fun with the original paint scheme.

Love gassers! Lots of great body styles made into gassers
but for me the timeless gassers were tri-five Chevys,
Henry J's and Willy's.

That sits bitchin'!!!

More progress. Now it's time to mount the 409/4 speed, cut the firewall, build the headers. All the body work is done, ready to jamb out and reassemble, then sand and paint.
