When buying a gear set for an 8.75 chunk do I need to specify which case?.
Like 742 or 489? Are they all the same?

One more question: I want to change my gears on my spool rear. Anything I need to know about the differences with a spool? I have never did one before

I have a spool and a set of 4.30s but haven’t set them up yet . I can’t imagine there would be much difference.

Need to specify. They are not all the same.

Spools use the larger diameter 2.0 carrier bearings. If you are buying a full bearing kit make sure to specify the larger diameter.
