gears?

hey guys, i want low end gears for lots of torque to spin the tires nice and quick but i also want something that i could drive on the highway. what gears would you recommend, i have a 904/318.

Depends on the tire size. I have 205/70/14 so I am happy with 3.23 gears. It winds high enough on the freeway with that selection.

I wouldn't go any higher than 3:55 if you are planning on spending any time on the highway. I agree with chryslerfat that the 3:23 is a very good all around gear. Ma Mopar didn't call them the "Maximum Performance" gear for nothing!!! What rear end is in your car?? That may limit your choice of ratios!!! Geof
