George Foreman dead at 76

The two-time world heavyweight champion boxer and Olympic gold medalist George Foreman has died at the age of 76.

George lived close to my area, he did a "lot" of unsung charity work for the underprivileged. He built may sports arenas for the youngsters to play in and use. At one time there was a small boxing gym where he and other boxers taught the fundamentals to kids.

He was one of the good ones, both as a boxer and a person. R.I.P. George.

His punches looked slow, but he devastated a lot of boxers. Enjoyed hearing him ringside as well.
