Our pups had a problem yesterday. They were outside rough housing, Mita ended up with her jaw under Azul's collar and Azul somehow twisted it around Mita's lower jaw...had to unhook Azuls collar....course they were in freak out mode and bit both of us....just ordered a pair of Break-A-Way collars. When Red and Blue, our last set of pups were young they were no where near as rowdy as these 2. Just glad they are both ok....

Glad to hear that the dogs are ok,When Bear and Dennis were younger they jumped the small fence into the garden and had a resoling match and could not get back out. That was the summer Bear had ACL issues. Knees are doing better now, but walks with a limp.

Maybe you need to give em some doggie downer chill pills! Our pit gets nervous when the weather gets stormy and rough. The wife got some stuff from the vet to give him so he doesn't shiver and drool.

Ordered collars this morning. It has been raining all day. Girls open the doggy door, see the rain & go back to bed. Literally had to push them outside, hard to believe they lived in a barn prior to us getting them.

We had to cut a collar off of one of our dogs when that happened about 10 years ago...she was choking, and the other one was panicked because he couldn't do anything because he was trapped.

There collars have quick release catches on them.....but they were struggling so bad getting to it was a problem. We adjusted there collars so they are a bit snug for now. They need to wear them because of the doggy door, they need a magnet to make it open. Will be heading to the PO early Saturday morning to pick the new collars.
