When I bought the car it had an electric fuel pump installed in the engine bay, previous owner knew it was wrong but it is what it is.

I now am going to go back to a mechanical pump fuel system. I bought a carter high volume pump.

What I need to know...Is there a place where I can get the complete fuel line system?

Also, I have a question about electric fuel pumps. The one I have on now is on a switch in the dash. Is the correct operation to turn the switch just before trying to crank or during cranking? Sorry, very unfamiliar with electric fuel pumps and just curious.

Thank you both!

Is there a need for a return line for an electric pump? for some reason I dont remember there being one, where is all the excees fuel being dumped??

Odd..I am moving to an electric..I am concerned about the seal going and having the gas go down into the sump..happened to a friends motor...they may be better now,,,
