seconded on the PB blaster. that **** works wonders. also i've had great luck with Kroil, but it's expensive.

There is a new WD 40 Just for rust.I have bought a can of it from Wal Mart it works as good as PB Blaster.

I was thinking the same thing, a small propane torch to heat the alum and the bolt if not cross threaded should pretty much come right out.

ugh caught in an old thread, ok, back to the future now......

I do this stuff all day long, and you can't beat a torch, or some kind of heat.
