4th pic's down a nice color with a orange stripe around her rear with a yellow bottom.
whooohoo. :downtown: :salute:

Believe me, it pays to hang around Spring Fling. You never know what you might see or happen to you.

How about this one of Mike's car then....

It's a Dixco hood tach. Mopar Aftermarket in the 60's and 70's sold them through the dealer with their sticker on them.

The car is in Ventura or Oxnard locally.

There is a black 68 318 Dart GTS that is/was in West LA near my parents house. That car is cool too. It has a Barracuda dash, rear center arm rest, and 68 GTS hood louvers. And it's a heater delete car. Used to come to Spring Fling a lot.

I have pics of that car from '04. It was the first mexican A-body I had ever seen in person. It's cool but I prefer the American version better.

wish i would have meet some af you guys too. i was trying to remember who owned what car, but got overwhelmed with lots of cool cars and great part pickin's.

I was hoping to catch up with the people that own the orange Duster with the orange sign in front of it.

I tried to buy that car in 1981 or so. Worked with the lady that owned it.

When I get my ride up and running I plan on putting my "forabodiesonly.com" sticker (from John) on the windshield. That way everyone from the site will know it's a FABO member. :lurk:

Maybe John can make up some more for the guys who didn't get them.

My wifes into old cars, but shes more into beetles....darn. Wish she was into mopars. pretty wife and nice car bytheway.

thanks
Yep I got Lucky. Her Mom bought a 68 new. She learned to drive with it. So when we decided to get a project car it was an easy sell. allthough she still Corrects me When I call it "my" car. But its hard to complain about that when she doesn't mind spending money on it.
I have a freind Melanie. Her Dad in Colorado has two AARs that he is restoring. And She couldn't care less ,she has her 63 oval window bug. Go figure

I was at Spring Fling, too. Me and a couple buddies drove down from the Bay Area. Here's some photos of 70 Duster 340 4 speed from Sunday. It was shown by the original owner. It has only around 60k miles on it. It was in unbeleivably good original condition. Check out the sign he had on the windshield.

Is that a red 64-65 valiant convertible with a barracuda front clip?

Yep it's a 1972 Valiant Superbee from Mexico. I was parked next to him in that pix. I was talking to him while we were cleaning our cars & he drove all the way from Mexico to the show. I think he told some one it was like 1500 miles that he drove. The weather was great Except for the wind, my California duster got a work out this weekend. I wish I would have met up with some of you guys that went. On Sunday I was near the begining of the 2nd row of "A" bodies & was hanging out under the tree for most of the day.

In one of the video segments I just posted above they interview the owner. He explains the car. I think it's the last video.

I found about 400 more Spring Fling pictures. :toothy7: You gotta check out the 3-D painted type modified pictures at the very end of this first set of pictures.

What do you think of that motif???

Check out the artistic 3-d like art renditions at the end of this set.

I rolled him about the increase in price and no show discount on an $$$ item I bought. He said the increase was 10%. Was actually 20%. He said...oh you know China's causing the increase in material costs. My *** I thought. Almost $500 for freaking wheel lip mouldings on an early abody. Give me break. Good thing I rarely buy anything fromthe guy. I felt like he was a tool. I didn't get irrate or anything just stated my opinions and he returned $20 bucks to me. Anyhow. :goodman:

Nice pic's! I enjoyed them allot.
Looks like Jay Leno forgot to iron his pant's that morning :headbang:
