Got up early to check the car over and the adjusted altitude was 750 feet and I thought I would finally get my 5 second time slip on Sunday. By time my class was called it had climbed to over 1700 feet. It ran s nice 6.03@112 mph so maybe with tomorrow’s cooler temps coming I may get that elusive 5 slip.

I agree, cool shot/image, best of luck!!!!
One question, whose diaper are You using, & how much of a pain to accommodate it?

Thanks. I think it’s a J&J out of Ohio but I will try to check with the guy I bought it from. My Duster was pretty easy because it has a rack steer in it but we also just put one on my sons 70 Duster. We had already modified his 1 7/8 headmen headers with a four pound hammer because of his Milidon oil pan. Over the Winter be trimmed his k members lip off and welded the seam and it went on pretty easy. It’s heat resistant but not Kevlar and because it’s thin pretty user friendly

Well if I see it run under a 6.00 I'll come shake your hand. And there is no place better than Norwalk to do it! I'll be pulling out in the AM for Norwalk. Good luck.

This thing is fighting me. I went 6.004 and 6 months later A 6.003. Lol. I spent a day building an air pan thinking it would get me their but so far no cigar. Lol.

Remove a lung, kidney, eye, ear, arm + leg (automatic car only), gall bladder, spleen, one ********, teeth, pinkie finger, and any remaining toes, and you'll probably make your 5 slip.

Looks like you did everything else you can do.

Lol. I lost 55 pounds in 2015 by walking and watching carbs. In 2016 I had some health issues and put that back on. It really took the wind out of my sails but I promise to get back on the horse and start walking again. The engine will
Be apart this Winter and I will freshen it and go from a solid lift cam to a roller and I will do some more work on the heads. I still have today, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and hopefully Sunday to get my 5 and the temps colded off big time since Sunday

My money is on you running a 6.000 next!! Lol

I honestly don’t think I will get it this week. We got one heck of a tailwind today but I Ran last nights race so I have to sit out tonight’s race. I could have taken my one time trial this morning but it’s to much work and expence just for one pass. Our big 5000.00 race is Saturday and it looks like rain will be in the area. My son races today
