Went and did some street racing this weekend with the trucks and my cousin and my brother and his car.. My cousin and I raced juniors but never a car down the quarter mile..
I raced my dads blue 2014 crew cab and my cousin raced her dads 2013 crew cab..
Had a great time.. I out over 20 runs on the truck.. I've always done everything for our super gas car witch we rarely get more then 7 runs on it in a weekend.. So it certainly was different..
First round I raced a 2008 Mustang GT-350 . He cut a .550 light and ran 3 over .. I cut a .114 light and ran 3 over dumping him right at the end. Second round I raced a 2011 Cadillac CTS.. He got a .643 light and ran .40 over!! I gave it away with a -0.001 red and ran right on my dial.. I bought back in and third round i raced a guy who is there all the time and he's very good.. He cut two 0.001 lights against me in the time trials.. He cut a .47 light and ran 2 over and I cut a 0.001 light and ran a 14.92 on a 14.93.. Bummer .. But for my first time I think I did good .. My cousin lost the same round as me and my brother lost 1st round,bought back and then lost again.. He was getting cocky on the way there because he used to be VERY successful in the juniors.
