Hi all,
I'm new to the group and I'm looking forward to 'meeting' you guys as I continue to work on my 69 340 Barracuda. It is a driver but every year I try to tackle something new so the car improves while I still drive and enjoy it.
My car was purchased new in '69 by my dad who used it as his daily driver for years. He passed away when I was a kid and the car sat in mom's garage till I was old enough to know how amazing the car is. I've been driving/restoring/enjoying the car for 30 years now and continue to peck away.
Thanks for all the help I've found here and thanks in advance for the help I'm sure to find.
Cheers,
Trev

Welcome and car looks awesome. If thats a 340 Formula S its 1 of the 1431 fastbacks made in '69. Lets see some more pictures.

Sure, Dartnut.

Car was originally purchased in Toronto, Ontario off the showroom floor in late summer/fall of 1969. I've got the bill of sale somewhere - $2900 I think.
Car is F5 Limelight green with F8 Green interior.
The original 340 engine is still in the car, and it's been rebuilt twice. It has a bit of a lumpy cam in it, but I'm not sure of the specs. Original 727 tranny with a 3.23 rear end. Disc brakes. All numbers matching. Manual steering and brakes. I think the black vinyl top is a bit unusual.

I try to fix something up every year while continuing to drive it. She's a real labor of love!
