Hello everyone.
Many years ago I had a 69 Charger R/T and then a 69 Dart GT 340. I was into drag racing at the time. The 440 out of the Charger ended up in the Dart. Fun car.
Then 30 years I bought a well worn but running 69 Barracuda. I fixed all of the leaks. It looked rough but was reliable and fun to drive.
It became my work commuter car for the next 11 years!.. It has been parked for 15 years.
I retired last year and have too many projects. The Barracuda is among the things that need to go so I can downsize my life.

Welcome!! From S E Tx.
My newest car friend is doing just the opposite ( his wife wonders why!). He is retired already was about 12 classics (one done), and still buying more. He just hope he lives long enough!

Thanks everyone!
I should have located the pictures before starting this thread :)
I'll try to post some pictures some time today.

I believe this car has been in the north TX area since day one. When I say 'looked rough' I'm referring to the faded cheap repaint. IIRC has some previous owner repaired body damage to the right rear quarter panel. I would guess 95% rust free. Trim tag missing when I got it but I think was originally Q5 Seafoam with vinyl roof.
Pictures are how it looked just before it was parked after HotRod Power Tour 2008. Fuel was kinda expensive at the time...
