I used to be Rarefish383. Changed email and couldn't find a way to make contact and change my password. I would love to recover my old account and delete this one. My old user name is still on file.
For those that may remember me, and those that don't, I've been into performance A bodies since 1972 in high school. I bought a mint 1965 Dart GT 273, 4 speed. White with blue bucket seat interior, for 50 bucks from a substitute teacher. Then a 67 Fastback Barracuda, 273, 4 speed, red with white interior. Over the next few years I had 3 69 340 Swingers, 2 more 67-68 fastbacks. In the early 80's bought a 67 Dodge 440 R/T for my daily driver. In 1999 I bought my dream car, that I found while cruising in one of my Swingers back in the 70's. A 68 Formula S, 383, 4 speed convertible. All numbers matching, from the original owner. I drove it for 2 years and then took it apart, every nut and bolt. Had it media blasted, and put in PPG primer sealer. Fast forward till now. Turned 69 a couple weeks ago and finally have the money to restore the car. Have pics of most of my old Mopar's and one of my 340 powered Front engine Dragster. Be nice to get back in touch with some of my old friends in the area, Joe.
