I had to replace the lifters in my car and ordered new pushrods at the same time. I asked for LA style ball ends but got oil through pushrods. It's a stock *69 340 valvetrain. Too much trouble to return them now. I installed them anyways. Been running them for a bit as I don't think it matters, does it?

Do your lifters have oil holes? How about your rocker adjusters? If not, would the oil passage in the pushrod do anything?

As long as they are the right length and have the proper ends it shouldn't matter. Why replace the lifters?

Thanks Mike! I had one lifter come apart in the engine so I replaced all of them. The pushrods are the same style but oil through. I didn't see enough preload on the old pushrods so got longer lengths after measuring them.
