I'm replacing the timing belt on a friend's 2000 Nissan Exterra. Ten teeth were sheered at the crank, so the cams did not move with the crank when he tried to restart the vehicle. Needless to say, I had to find TDC and proper orientation for the cams. I don't have a compression gauge, so I improvised. This is an old spark plug with the guts broken out, a length of tubing and a finger off of a latex glove. Hey, it worked!! Maybe I should post this in the home made tools thread. :D
