Is it true that a standard h4 halogen will work just fine in our sealed bulb harnesses with no modifications or additional wiring since they're also 3 prong?

Not really. It will physically fit, but the wiring needs to be upgraded. Our member crackedback sells a real nice harness upgrade for just that conversion. He's a stand up guy.

Steve the stock wiring really shows itself compared to the relay upgrade. It's not a contest. Want better headlight performance, ditch the factory stuff and go relays with large power feed wires.



People will say the factory stuff works fine, the above picture would counter that suggestion.

The idle dimming is more a function of the junky low end performance of our alternators. Better alternators and keeping the idle turned up slightly will help. Easier on 4 gear cars than auto.
