Haggerty insurance!!!

I have my 66 Valiant covered for $7.500.00 threw grundy, They have an office not fare from me and they took pictures of my car in there parking lot and I had to show proof of a daily driver and they asked do I have a parking garage... I said yes, I had a picture of my Bald Eagle Built garage I bought just for my car, wrote me up for full coverage $107.00 a year.
I told them I drive it to enjoy breakfast 3 miles away from my house and to car shows and some times trips to car club meetings and to George Rays drag strip to watch racing, she said just don't race it it will not cover your car on the race track. If I remember right I had to have a shelter/garage for my car, but if I have it parked outside will it be covered !! She laughed and said yes, it's just for security and that you have a place to park it at night and during bad weather when you are gone, it made my policy cheaper, But I am thinking I had to have a garage to get this insurance, yes I think I had to have a garage for my car.

I've had Hagerty for 10+ years and pretty much like them. Never had a claim though. Interesting thing is.....they'll ask how many miles per year I drive my cars, and I tell them, but they've never asked the current odometer mileage! Once, I had a bit of a disagreement with them after I restored one of my cars. I told them (when they asked me if I ever had any plans on driving it to work....sort of "baiting me" I think) and I said "yeah, I'll probably take it work one time to show my friends" They freaked. Don't ever do that......then I had to back-pedal and I don't think they were comfortable with it, or believed me. Oh well. I actually never did take it to work.
