I’ll be heading over to Keystone early Friday morning for my first of what may be three Halls races to end my race season. After three races this weekend I will check the weather for next weekends race at Quaker City. I already pre-entered Norwalks Halloween Classic the week after that. Crazy way to end a season of it goes down.

Good luck! hope you get all the racing in.
We need you to make some money and most of all have fun.
Money and fun would a good ending to your season.

Well I got some good news about race number 3 at Norwalk. I got my email from them just now saying I’m in Friday’s box super roller a 128 car field so Lord willing it looks like I will be going to the Halloween Classic

I drug my feet all week because of rainy cold weather and sharing the rain move towards keystone. We could have probably gotten fridays race in but several minute ago our track manager posted on Facebook the weekend is canceled. Until the sun came out at 3:30 today I didn’t make a move. Then I jumped lol. I went and filled the motorhome with propane, stopped at the gas station and filled the motorhome with gas. Then I hooked up the truck and pulled the car trailer up the hill, unhooked, and right before backing the motorhome up checked Facebook and found this. I think he made the right call but either way guys will call him an azz.

As a race track owner/operator, times like this are one of the hardest positions to be in. Watching multiple forecasts and looking everywhere in hopes of a better forecast, and finding none. I have had multiple calls, texts and messages today with thoughts and opinions. The GGG race is a fun family event, which it makes harder to make a decision this early - we all want to race and have a good time, and watch the kids have a good time. With the forecast as of now, which I know can change, but with what we have to go by is tomorrow will be dry, but Saturday rain potentially moves in early. The rain in the early AM hours would prevent us from taking the track on time, with the work to dry it. The rain looks steady most of the afternoon into the evening. This would not be a good experience for anyone, even for trick or treating. Rain and cold temps are no fun for anyone. Sunday morning is also showing possible rain. Even if we do not get rain Sunday morning, with the temperature, we would at best be noon or afternoon to get on track. This is a tough season for all of us. For the racers, I do not want you to waste tow money to sit and potentially not be able to race for 2 of the 3 days. With the business expenses as well as all of our customers expenses in tow, time, and fuel, it’s a losing situation. I also want to be considerate of those who may be towing in tomorrow, and give them enough notice. It is so disappointing to announce the track will be closed this weekend, and we are rescheduling GGG to October 29th and 30th. Staff along with myself have done so much work in a short amount of time this week, Mark, Bob and Austin have all the decorations up, Amber got all the shirts and hoodies loaded and hung up. We all were looking forward to one of everyone’s favorite races of the year. If you make the decision to go to Dragway 42 or National Trail for their Halloween races this weekend, be safe and have fun. Apologies again for the cancellation of this weekend, I absolutely hate to do it, but unfortunately I have no control of the weather. We will have an updated GGG flyer out soon. Thank you for your understanding and support.

I've about had it with this year's weather.
Many of my activities this year were canceled this year
by me because of heat, cold, wind and untimely rain.
Damn 100 year weather return or global warming, cooling, climate change, whatever they call it. lol
