Got an email from Carlisle today in honor of Slant Six Day,
they are having a sale on pre-registrations with 15% off today through 3/3.
It's the 100th anniversary of Chrysler so it's going to be even bigger than usual.

Happy Slant-6 Day to all who use the US date format; everyone else will have to wait until the 22nd of May. By way of observance, here are two photographs' worth of evidence that in late 1960, a lady was tasked with being joyous about the 1961 Slant-6 engine, which was still novel after its debut a year prior. The woman in the third photograph, on the other hand, appears to be seriously questioning her life path in a moment of downtime.

Heck people around here still have christmas lights up and turned on their houses, so I can celebrate Slant 6's 2X / year.
