Hey everyone. I am still swamped as heck but I wouldn't feel right about passing up the opportunity to wish all my FABO friends a happy Thanksgiving. Take this day to look around at your family, your home, and all you have and enjoy, and give thanks for your blessings. Just relax, enjoy, and be thankful. We can get back to the battle against those who hope to take it all away tomorrow. I hope to return as a regular contributor soon. Best wishes to one and all.

Likewise back to you 2shelbys. Good to see your still around.

I'm sure most of us could be better off, but we could be a lot worse off, too. That's what Thanksgiving means to me, thankful to enjoy life, family and friends. Happy Thanksgiving!!!

The reason I am so busy is a direct result of the economic destruction that has been inflicted on us by our government. I left the mortgage business and put my real estate investing on hold and took a job as a mortgage modification specialist. I am spending 6 long days a week helping people avoid losing their homes and unfortunately for so many people, there is more work for us than we could ever do. It is really sad listening to the situations all these people are in but when you get to call someone and tell them you postponed their forclosure, got all their past due payments deferred to the end of the loan, and got them a substantial reduction in their payment so they can afford to keep their house it makes the long hours and not seeing nearly as much of the family (I worked out of the house before taking this job) all worth while. I do not mean to sound as though I am doing anything special or making some huge sacrifice because I am paid very well to do this, but it is nice being able to actually help people.
